My name is Sindi Somers and I am a wedding officiant. Believe it or not, I performed my first wedding over twenty years ago, and I still love doing it! I love my couples, and enjoy helping them to have less stressful, more joyous experiences with their wedding day, and the planning process.
I am also a spiritual counselor and an ordained minister, but I perform both civil and spiritual unions. I believe that we each have our own path, and I honor yours. In addition to helping you make it legal, I offer premarital counseling. As a certified meditation teacher, your sessions can include meditation instruction, and guided meditation. We can also have separate meditation sessions where you will learn techniques to help you reduce stress before, during, and after you wedding day. Want to try it? Just ask!
I moved back to Seattle in November of 2021. I am happy to be back in my favorite city! It has changed a lot since I last lived here, because of the pandemic, but mostly just due to time passing. It still feels like home though! I am thrilled to be able to offer my officiant services to all who are ready to get married. Both the lovely couples that live here and those that may be visiting for a destination wedding, or elopement.

Every person is unique, so every couple will be also. It makes sense then, that each wedding will be to. My basic ceremony has beautiful sentiments, including how marriage is living with your best friend. Using this as our base, we will work together to create a ceremony that best represents the two of you and your individual beliefs.
