It’s a hot day today where I am. It’s definitely summer! Weddings happen year round, but it’s not a secret that summer time is the busiest part of “wedding season.” Whether you plan years in advance, or it’s a last minute decision, it is a day you will always remember. You are unique and so is your partner, so your relationship is also unique. When two unique souls come together, how can it be anything other than unique? If you choose to move forward with getting married, your wedding and your marriage, just like your unmarried coupling, and your individual selves, will also be, unique.

There are all different types of people and all different types of relationships. Whether siblings, parent+child, friends, cousins, pet+person, significant others, lovers, and more variations. But are there different types of love?
Love is an energy vibration. It is pure energy. It is an energy vibration that has been given the word “love” by humans. While people may have different beliefs, definitions, understandings, and experiences with love, if we take all that away, what is it? Again, it is an energy vibration, just as kindness, compassion, sadness, anger, and even hate are different types of energy. I believe that it is what is connected to the energy vibration of love that makes it seem “different,” or may make it feel different to our bodies. While the phrase, “love is love,” is used in a particular way and has a different and very important meaning in our world, I would like to take the liberty of also using it in this instance here now. Because love is love. It is a spiritual vibration that us humans often choose to attach physical characteristics, such as emotions, or judgments too. You may not agree, but I wanted to share my perspective.
Whatever your belief and your relationship represents, I hope you often get to experience the healing quality of love.

Whatever your gender – female, male, nonbinary, trans, fluid, or other identity – and whether you identify as gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual, asexual, polyamorous, pansexual, or queer on any portion of the spectrum, we all have the absolute, 100% right to enjoy, share, celebrate, and give a voice to our unique experience.
One is not better than the other and one is not worse than the other. We are all human! That is a pure and simple truth. We are all human. Let’s do our best to be kind, gentle, give space to, accept, allow, and whether loudly or in private, celebrate our differences. We can all learn from each other. Learn and grow.
It is our differences that make us unique and uniquely beautiful. It is our differences, as well as our many similarities, that make us human.
Let’s let each other do the human experience here on earth. Being human, spiritual beings in physical bodies, is tough enough as it is, all on its own, without adding extra judgement, fear, and hurt to it.
This is our planet. Let’s aim for harmony and healing and help rid the world of hate. That other energy that is not as flowing or fun and doesn’t feel as good to our bodies as that energy vibration called love.
